This project, at the foot of Los Arcos, in the Carrel neighbourhood, demonstrates that it is possible to create green and healthy spaces even in dense urban environments.

Teruel’s first vertical garden is an inspiring example for other cities seeking to improve the quality of life of their citizens and build a more sustainable future.

It is a pilot experience in the city that aims to reduce the visual impact of a recreational space dominated by concrete with plant species that make it a much more welcoming place. The action contributes to increasing urban biodiversity by increasing the green areas in the city without taking up space at ground level. In addition, it is a small-scale intervention that provides this neighbourhood with a friendly viewpoint in which to rest, play, etc., within a healthy microclimate.
