The vertical garden in the Azafrán square is the first of its kind in Azuqueca de Henares and has made it possible to create a green area in an urban space that does not have enough space for traditional options.
The maintenance of this type of garden often requires the use of a lift.
In this particular garden we prune the fastest growing shrub species such as the ‘lonicera nitida’, and clean the dry leaves of the perennial species with the aim of favouring optimum growth during the coming spring.
Our vertical gardens use an efficient system to make the most of the water left over from irrigation and, for this purpose, they have a water control and management system monitored in real time.
