Mapfre Building, Barcelona, green roof
The Mapfre Tower in Barcelona, one of the tallest buildings in the city, has 99 m2 of green roof.
The Rizoma system uses the latest technology in synthetic substrates, the rock wool panels perform the functions of a retaining, draining and substrate layer, with a thickness of only 4 cm. Sedum species or grass sods are placed on them, obtaining a total thickness of the substrate of 7 cm.
In this case we have a drip irrigation system above the sod.
